Many students from countries outside the European Union will need a visa to study in the United Kingdom. Some students may need to apply for the visa before entering the UK. Others can enter the UK and then apply for a student visa once in London. Please check which category your home country falls into.
After receiving payment of all the requested fees the college will send the student a Confirmation of Enrolment letter. This letter contains the start date and duration of the course, expected arrival date in the UK (if applicable), the total invoice amount for the student's programme of study and the amount paid to the college.
Upon receiving your Confirmation of Enrolment letter take it along with all relevant documents to the nearest visa application centre in your home country or to the UK Home Office if applying after entering the UK.
Students cannot start their course until a visa has been issued so you must allow enough time for the application to be processed. For the latest information on the visa application process see www.ukvisas.gov.uk and www.educationuk.org or contact the UK Home Office (if already in the UK) or your local British Embassy/Consulate (if applying from outside the UK).
